Become Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen

The mission of the Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant is to provide an opportunity for Nevada's young teenage ladies to compete in a first-class teen scholarship pageant and to encourage them to continue pursuing their talents, become positive influences in their communities and develop into mature, responsible young women of the highest morals and integrity.

The Pageant provides an opportunity for young teenage ladies in Nevada to engage in a formal interview with the judges, helping them develop positive communication skills for life. The young ladies will also focus on their personal fitness training in preparation for the active wear competition. Their gracefulness and poise will be demonstrated in the evening wear competition and their marvelous talents will be presented during the talent competition.

Each contestant is encouraged to reach her educational goals and aspirations and to serve her community by becoming involved in local community service. Truly, the contestants for Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen are graceful, talented, poised and confident young ladies that will be the future leaders for our great state.

The cycle for each pageant season begins after the state pageant which is held in the month of July.  After the state pageant, local pageants are conducted throughout the state from July to the following April.  The months of May and June are spent getting all information ready for the contestants to compete at the state competition.  Once a contestant wins the title of Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen, she immediately begins preparing for Miss America's Outstanding Teen held in August of that same year.
